- Service: We welcome you with a smile and we hope you leave smiling as well. Our staff is dedicated to providing medical care with compassion and humanity. If there is anything we can improve, we want to hear about it and change to best care for you and your family.
About the Doctor:
Dr. Pradhan is a board certified Ophthalmologist and Cornea specialist. She is a dedicated physician who seeks to treat the whole patient with up-to-date knowledge and compassion. Dr. Pradhan is an experienced surgeon who is comfortable with comprehensive and complete eye care as well complex cataract surgery, corneal problems and corneal transplantation.
A cornea specialist is a physician who has completed an additional year of training in cornea transplantation including clinical and surgical training in all cornea diseases after completing three years of an Ophthalmology residency, one year of medical internship, four years of medical school and four years of college.
Dr. Pradhan is a long-time resident of Virginia, with her parents being from Bluefield, Virginia and Bluefield, West Virginia. She attended high school in McLean, Virginia at The Maderia School. She returned to Virginia for internship (2004-2005) in Roanoke, Virginia at Carilion Clinic and then residency (2005-2008) in Richmond, Virginia at Medical College of Virginia. She moved back to Virginia with her family in 2012 to make it their permanent home. She lives with her husband and their three children.
Dr. Pradhan is the founder and owner of her new medical practice, Eye Doctor, MD, P.C., officially open as of October 2015. She seeks to support the local greater Richmond community.
